There is a scientific and congenital condition in which there are sexual features of both males and females. This genetic disease is very troublesome to the parents and the patient. This disease is called Hermaphrodism. It literally means presence of both sexes but there are different types of it. One is called true hermaphrodism in which actually both genitalia are present internally and the patient has both testes as well as uterus and ovaries, penis is also present in them with variable sizes. The other condition is called pseudo hermaphrodism in which the internal genitalia are either male or female but external features are present of both genders. One of them is called testicular feminization syndrome in which the internal gender is male but develops breast tissue and other features of females. The second type is called female virilization in which the gender is actually female but the external genitalia look like males.
